This was the year when the Festival really took root in Place des Festivals and Quartier des Spectacles in Montreal.
More space and grandiose scale potential, the scenography took a new dimensional turn to invade the square and its surrounding broad avenues, creating a lively, continuous itinerary that was punctuated by festival performances, sponsors and sales points.
A fairground and Danielle Roy and Luc Petit’s Pink Cendrillon show made just the right night attractions for the new site to acclaim its purpose.
